These tables are a quick reference to help health care providers determine the nutritional status of children over 5 years of age; adolescents; and non‑pregnant, non‑lactating adults. Practice exercises are available to assist health care providers in using the tables.
This guideline provides global, evidence-informed recommendations on a number of specific issues related to the management of severe acute malnutrition in infants and children, including in the context of HIV.
The Border Consortium (TBC) developed a comprehensive Training of Trainers Nutrition Curriculum which includes 12 Modules (6 Basic and 6 Advanced topics). The Manual provides trainers with standardized methods and content to deliver nutrition training.
